Steam and official-site title. Other configured Steam locales keep the English title.
Glossary
RuneScape: Dragonwilds glossary for first-party spellings. Use these forms in notes and searches: Ashenfall, Kuldra, Velgar, Imaru, Fuzan, Brynmoor, Ghornfell, Fellhollow, Dowdun Reach, Umbral Sands, Scorned Wilderness, Garou, and the local Steam titles. Locked names stay in first-party spelling. The entries below record how official pages write them.
Steam and official-site title. Other configured Steam locales keep the English title.
The forgotten continent. Official copy: a land of ruin, shadow, and relentless extremes, where dragons woke and survival plus ancient secrets lead to the Dragon Queen.
Five-headed black Dragon Queen, God Eater, and High Queen. Scorned Wilderness raid boss who closes Kuldra’s Saga.
First Dragon General of Early Access, also called Big High War God, tied to Brynmoor and Ghornfell.
Revenant Dragon / Soul-Eater of Fellhollow, behind Dragon Slayer and Withering Heights.
Red fire dragon of Umbral Sands, the last major Early Access region boss.
Starting region at power 1-2: Temple Woods, Bramblemead Valley, Whispering Swamp.
North Ashenfall at power 3-4: Fractured Plains, Stormtouched Highlands, Bloodblight Swamp.
December 2025 undead region at power 5, with Farming, Steel, terrorbirds, and Imaru.
31 March 2026 mountain fortress at power 6, mithril tier, Black Knight Titan.
23 June 2026 desert region with Fuzan, carpets, adamant, yew, and CJK support.
1.0 raid of floating islands: buildable Hub, no-build arena, Kuldra.
Named people in official creature copy; Kuldra is High Queen of some Garou on the wiki record.
Classic RuneScape world. Dragonwilds is Ashenfall, not a Gielinor city atlas.
Anima-powered skill tools that replace empty grinding, launched with the first nine skills.
Named creature type in official site combat copy alongside Black Knights and Garou.
Jagex Ltd develops the game. Steam also lists H2 Interactive Co., Ltd. and Graph as publishers. Storefront nouns that stay in English across this wiki’s UI are Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Epic Games Store, Jagex Launcher, Unreal Engine 5, and Game Pass. Do not respell Scorned Wilderness as a generic “wilderness dungeon.”
If a community page uses a different romanisation, prefer the Steam or official-wiki string. This glossary is the spelling lock, not a lore essay. Skill Spells and the 99 cap belong with the skills board. Storefronts belong with platforms. Price and saves belong with the FAQ.
Steam Japanese is RuneScape: Dragonwilds Korean is RuneScape: Dragonwilds Simplified Chinese is RuneScape: Dragonwilds Traditional Chinese is RuneScape: Dragonwilds Steam pages outside those four languages still print the English product name. Use those strings when you search a local store.
Region names are the travel keys: Brynmoor, Ghornfell, Fellhollow, Dowdun Reach, Umbral Sands, Scorned Wilderness. Sub-region names that matter on the landing are Temple Woods, Bramblemead Valley, and Whispering Swamp. Ghornfell’s named ground is Fractured Plains, Stormtouched Highlands, and Bloodblight Swamp. Do not shorten Scorned Wilderness to a generic wilderness dungeon; it is the 1.0 raid.
Creature and people names that stay locked are Garou, Zogres, Kot'Haar, Gielinor, and the four dragons. Storefront nouns that stay in English are Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Epic Games Store, Jagex Launcher, Unreal Engine 5, and Game Pass. Jagex Ltd develops the game. Graph and H2 Interactive publish in Japan and Korea / South East Asia. Anima utilities such as a spectral axe or exploding ore vein are Skill Spells, not extra glossary letters.
Bramblemead is a valley inside Brynmoor, not a seventh region. Fractured Plains sit inside Ghornfell. Whispering Swamp is still power 1-2. Keep sub-region names under their parent when you write a note, or a search will send you to the wrong climate.
Brynmoor is the parent. Temple Woods, Bramblemead Valley, and Whispering Swamp are children. Ghornfell is the parent. Fractured Plains, Stormtouched Highlands, and Bloodblight Swamp are children. Fellhollow, Dowdun Reach, Umbral Sands, and Scorned Wilderness are parents of their own climates. Writing a child name as if it were a seventh region will send a search to the wrong power level.
Kuldra’s Saga is the version spine, not a sixth dragon. Early Access, Fellhollow, Dowdun Reach, Umbral Sands, and Scorned Wilderness are the five public drops. Skill Spells are anima tools on the first nine skills. The 99 cap is the training ceiling. Game Pass, Steam, Epic Games Store, Jagex Launcher, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 are doors, not biomes.
Garou, Zogres, Black Knights, and Kot'Haar are creature or people names from official copy. Gielinor is the old world; Ashenfall is this one. Keep those locks when you write a note in another language. Local Steam titles already carry the Japanese, Korean, and Chinese strings beside the English product name. Wise Old Man and Bramblemead Valley stay in those first-party forms too, even when a chat abbreviation looks faster. Kot'Haar golems belong with Fuzan in Umbral Sands, not with the Brynmoor landing list.
