Combat, gathering, artisan, support

Combat is Attack, Magic, and Ranged. Gathering is Mining, Woodcutting, Farming, and Fishing. Artisan is Runecrafting, Construction, Artisan, and Cooking. Agility sits alone in Support. That grouping is how the filter should be used: pick a job for tonight, not a fantasy talent tree. Farming is the Fellhollow crop skill. Fishing is the eleventh skill, held until after Dowdun Reach, with a wiki date of 21 April 2026. Agility is the 0.12.1 traversal skill.

Early Access launched with nine skills and Skill Spells. Official copy later added Ranged spells Hunter Sense, Spectral Arrow, and Snare, plus poisoned, barbed, and flaming ammo. Runecrafting still means essence and runes. Construction still means buildings. Artisan still means weapons, armour, or tools. Cooking still means food. If a leftover file names Defence, Herblore, or Thieving, it is not a live skill.

The 99 cap and Skill Spells

Xbox Wire and the official wiki both state the trainable cap at 99. Steam achievements include skill-novice titles, which is why names such as Swift Pick and Chop Chop appear on the achievements page rather than here. This board is the training roster, not the achievement list. Use search when you want one skill. Use group when you want all gathering rows. Reset filters when the count drops to zero.

Skill Spells are why gathering on Ashenfall is not the same loop as Gielinor woodcutting. Spectral axes and exploding ore veins are named in Steam systems copy. They do not change the 99 cap. They do change how you spend an evening in Brynmoor or Umbral Sands. Pair skills with crafting when you care which metal tier a region unlocked, and with combat when you care how Attack, Magic, and Ranged share stamina after 0.12.1.

What to train tonight

If you just landed, train a combat style plus Woodcutting or Mining so Construction and Artisan have inputs. Cooking turns a fish or a crop into food once Fishing or Farming exists on your character. Farming is a Fellhollow skill, so a brand-new survivor should not wait on a patch of dirt that is still gated. Fishing is the eleventh skill after Dowdun Reach, dated 21 April 2026 on the wiki. Agility is 0.12.1 traversal from 29 July 2026.

The first nine Early Access skills remain the spine: Attack, Magic, Ranged, Mining, Woodcutting, Runecrafting, Construction, Artisan, Cooking. Skill Spells such as a spectral axe, blink, bones into peaches, and exploding ore veins are why those nine are not empty loops. Ranged later gained Hunter Sense, Spectral Arrow, Snare, and special ammo. Prayer is still labelled a future update. Defence, Herblore, and Thieving leftovers are not live rows.

Cap remains 99 on every live skill. Xbox Wire and the official wiki both say so. Steam novice titles such as Swift Pick and Chop Chop live on the achievements list. Use search when you want one skill. Use group when you want all gathering rows. Reset filters when the count drops to zero. Pair a 99 with the metal tier that region actually unlocked, and with the stamina loop you will take into Velgar, Imaru, Fuzan, or Kuldra.

A 99 in Cooking still needs fish or crops. A 99 in Agility still needs a course. Train the skill that feeds tonight’s map, then the vanity 99.
