Version 1.0 raid and end of Early Access

Where 1.0 actually runs

Jagex built this Unreal Engine 5 survival RPG for solo runs or online co-op on a forgotten continent where dragons woke and the weather never stays kind. Early Access opened on 15 April 2025 with Velgar over Brynmoor and Ghornfell. Version 1.0 launched on 15 September 2026 as Scorned Wilderness, ended Early Access, and put the five-headed Dragon Queen on the raid path. Skills still cap at 99.

Steam remains app 1374490. Epic Games Store and the Jagex Launcher are extra PC doors. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S with Game Pass, and Nintendo Switch 2 launched with 1.0 beside those PC storefronts. Crossplay uses world invite codes. Steam Cloud worlds do not appear on the Jagex Launcher. Graph publishes in Japan. H2 Interactive publishes in Korea and South East Asia. Jagex held the leaving-Early-Access price, so the listing did not jump when the full launch went live. Dedicated servers moved earlier than first planned, and development continues after 15 September 2026.

The same launch added Goblin Thug and Goblin enemies plus the Regicide quest. Official video lives on YouTube @RSDragonwilds: the Release Date Trailer and the 1.0 Update film. This hub uses those two titles only. Gear still climbs Iron, Steel, Mithril, Adamant, hide and robe sets, Obsidian, then 1.0 Rune, Black Dragonhide, and Wild Knight Robes. Combat after 0.12.1 shares stamina across melee, ranged, and magic, with parries, dodges, animation cancels, Water Magic, and a special-attack and wand pass.

If you need a spelling, open the glossary. If you need a yes-or-no on Game Pass or saves, open the FAQ. Region order, skill caps, and the raid split sit in the three tasks above. Steam lists 50 achievements on the achievement board. The field-note tone is deliberate: pick a task, then read the record that matches it.

PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S shipped with Game Pass on day one of 1.0. Nintendo Switch 2 is in that same console set. Partial controller support is a Steam feature flag, not a promise of every binding. Family Sharing is a store flag, not an achievement. Invite codes move a world across the supported storefronts; they never move a Steam Cloud save onto the Jagex Launcher. Keep those doors straight before you pack for Scorned Wilderness. Deluxe and standard listings share the same 1.0 date. Graph and H2 Interactive handle local storefront pages in Japan, Korea, and South East Asia, while Jagex remains the studio on the Steam, Epic, and Jagex Launcher pages. Price did not spike when Early Access ended on 15 September 2026.
